Hyderabad: CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills, celebrated International Women’s Day 2025 with a special tribute to the resilience and achievements of women. The event featured inspiring installations and a leadership session, reaffirming the hospital’s commitment to recognizing and empowering women across all walks of life.

A significant highlight of the event was the unveiling of installations honoring iconic Indian women, including Sarojini Naidu, Sania Mirza, Sushmita Sen, and PV Sindhu. A striking 10-ft tribute dedicated to the rural women of Telangana was also revealed, symbolizing their courage and strength.

The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Chief Guest Ms. B. V. Nandini Reddy, Indian Film Director & Screenwriter; Padma Shri awardee Dr. Manjula Anagani, Clinical Director & Head of CARE Vatsalya – Women and Child Institute; Guest of Honor Ms. S. Rashmi Perumal, IPS, DCP North Zone; Ms. Divi Vadthya, Indian Film Actress; Ms. Swapna, Senior Journalist; and Dr. Pragyna Chigurupati, Senior Oncologist & Breast Specialist. They unveiled the installations alongside Mr. Biju Nair, Zonal Chief Operating Officer, CARE Hospitals, and the hospital’s dedicated medical team.

Speaking at the event, Chief Guest Ms. Nandini Reddy said, “This occasion is a celebration of progress while also acknowledging the ongoing challenges women face. By honoring inspiring women and fostering meaningful conversations, initiatives like these empower individuals to drive change and create an inclusive environment where women can thrive.”
