Khammam Girl Gets New Lease of Life at CARE Hospitals Musheerabad
Hyderabad: Suffering with Diabetic Ketoacidsis (DKA) and Sepsis with no Prior History of Diabetes that caused persistent fever for several days, Mrs.Dargani Jyothi a 29 Years Old from Khammam District, Telangana State, has been given New Lease of Life after Critical Care treatment and sphenoidal endoscopic method surgery for Growth hormone secreting tumor in pituitary region of brain.
A Team of Doctors at CARE Hospitals preformed complex surgery i.e. Growth hormone secreting tumor in pituitary region of brain which is the reason for her critical condition with diabetes and persistent fever.
Dr.K.S.Moinuddin Consultant General Medicine CARE Hospitals Musheerabad said Mrs.Dargani Jyothi presented with Diabetic Ketoacidsis (DKA) and Severe Sepsis with no prior history of diabetes was admitted on 19th October 2021 she was treated in critical care department for about 2 months in these she was on ventilator support for about 45 days and various investigations were done and then she was finally diagnosed as having Growth hormone secreting tumor in pituitary region of brain which is the reason for her critical condition with diabetes and persistent fever for which tumor was resected on 11th December 2021 by trans sphenoidal endoscopic method Post operatively she improved well. Now she is not on any Drugs for Diabetes and her blood sugar levels are perfectly normal. She was hospitalized for about 75 days i.e. and successfully being discharged in stable condition on 27th December 2021.
