Hyderabad: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has launched the “One Man Office” (OMO) online service to enhance digital services for policyholders and empower its sales force. Unveiled on February 17, 2025, OMO provides a comprehensive digital ecosystem for agents, development officers, senior business associates, chief life insurance advisors, LIC associates, and chief organizers. This platform aims to streamline daily operations, boost efficiency and productivity, and offer improved customer services.
LIC’s CEO and MD, Shri. Siddhartha Mohanty, highlighted that OMO will serve as a vital tool for the sales force, enabling them to promote life insurance and assist customers anytime, anywhere. He emphasized its role in achieving the objective of ‘Insurance for All by 2047’.
OMO assists agents in digital policy sales, post-sales customer services, business tracking, and serves as a training and knowledge resource. Accessible via mobile devices, it functions as a digital office, aiming to be a user-friendly, one-stop solution for all business and service needs.
The services are offered through the ANANDA (Atma Nirbhar Agents New Business Digital Application) platform, which includes features like premium calculators, benefit illustrations, E-NACH registration, address changes, online loan requests, renewal premium payments, and claim-related submissions. It also provides a knowledge center, various insurance and health-related calculators, office locators, and NEFT search to assist agents in serving customers.
