SOUTH INDIAN BANK AND ENACTUS IIT DELHI ANNOUNCE ‘SIB FINATHON’ HACKATHON
Hyderabad: South Indian Bank, in collaboration with Enactus – Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, is pleased to extend an invitation for participation in its innovative hackathon, SIB Finathon. Open to the brightest minds in the student community, this hackathon welcomes applications from IIT students, engineering scholars, technology enthusiasts, and professionals across India. The event presents three stimulating challenges: Gamification, Virtual Branch, and Hyper-personalization of the mobile app, with an application deadline set for October 10, 2023.
Aligned with South Indian Bank’s commitment to embracing cutting-edge technology in banking, SIB Finathon unfolds in two phases: an online screening and shortlisting round followed by a grand finale. A panel of experts will assess entries, shortlisting 15 teams with the most innovative ideas to participate in a co-creation camp at IIT Delhi. This camp offers participants a unique opportunity to showcase their ideas, receiving guidance from South Indian Bank, IIT Delhi faculty, and experts from partners such as Mindgate Solutions, OneCard, and OSTTRA. The grand finale, set to take place at IIT Delhi’s prestigious campus on November 4th and 5th, 2023, will award the top three winning teams a total cash prize of Rs. 6 lacs.

In addition to the hackathon, SIB Finathon will host an enlightening conclave featuring distinguished speakers from the BFSI and tech domains. The conclave aims to facilitate insightful fireside chats, engaging panel discussions, and ample networking opportunities, enhancing the overall experience for participants.
The SIB Finathon welcomes participants from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience. Eligibility requirements include legitimate citizenship, age of 18 years or older, and access to the internet.
