CARE Hospitals in Association with Rotary Club Organises ‘Pink Victory Run 2025’ to Create Awareness on Breast Cancer
Hyderabad: CARE Hospitals, in association with the Rotary Club of Jubilee Hills, organised the ‘Pink Victory Run 2025’ at Jalavihar, Necklace road, to spread awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. The event saw enthusiastic participation from healthcare professionals, fitness enthusiasts, breast cancer survivors, and hundreds of women who came together to support the cause.
The run was led by Dr. Geetha Nagasree, Senior Consultant & Associate Clinical Director, CARE Hospitals, along with Rtn. Ram Prasad, District Governor, Rotary Club of Jubilee Hills, Rtn. Srinivas, District Secretary, Dr Amaresh Rao, Head of Cardiology at NIMS, Mr Nilesh Gupta, Chief Operating officer, CARE Hospitals, Hitech City, Dr. Mamatha Trivedi from SEWA Foundation, and Mr. Jagan, Runner and Fitness Coach. Together, they flagged off the event and encouraged participants to champion the message of awareness, screening, and early detection.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Geetha Nagasree, Senior Consultant & Associate Clinical Director, CARE Hospitals said, “Breast cancer, when detected early, is highly treatable. Awareness and regular screening are the most effective tools in preventing advanced-stage cancers. Through initiatives like the Pink Victory Run, we aim to empower women with knowledge and encourage them to prioritise their health.”
The event celebrated the spirit of strength and hope as several breast cancer survivors joined the run, symbolising courage and determination in the journey of recovery.
