Hyderabad: While Unlock5.0 guidelines allow schools, cinema halls to open and permit social gatherings in some states, NMDC advised its employees and general public to stay protected from Corona Virus by distributing masks and sanitizers. NMDC has also adopted the highest safety standards and put in place systems at all mines, plants & offices with the objective to achieve a safe workplace, whilst undertaking safety audits from time-to-time.
NMDC tied up with Apollo Hospitals for a meaningful initiative to prevent Corona at the Bacheli Complex of Balladila Iron Ore Mine Project. A large number of people are being given Proflexis treatment along with public awareness campaigns in the surrounding areas.
Serving the nation by contributing to the Jan Andolan initiative driven by PMO India against COVID19 spread, NMDC has put up posters at various locations in the mines & offices to spread awareness about safeguarding against the virus. Reiteration of the two yards distance rule and that Corona spreads mainly among those who stay in contact with a corona infected person without precautions, is being done.
NMDC is also suggesting that be it transactions or greetings, it’s safer to go touchless. Stay Safe during COVID19 times while adopting the touchless ways of greeting others. Now that the significance of hand washing, Wear-A-Mask while in public, and following Social Distancing norms have been proven effective, NMDC is working towards protecting lives under the initiative of “JaanHaiToJahan Hai”.
